Ornament Inspirations.

This is my inspiration...this was our family Christmas card, inspired by these ornaments. I love traditional Christmas colors on my cards. This is my first time participating in the papertrey blog hop, hopefully not my last. it's been a busy year, so i haven't done much blogging as of late. stamps, paper, ribbon and ink(not greenit's su, sorry just starting to build my supplies) are papertreyink, i love the stamps so much that it's what i asked for for Christmas. I was lucky enough to receive 8 new stamp sets.

Rasberry Fizz Color Challenge

This is my first ever color challenge.  I usually shy away from them.  I'm not sure why.  I really like the colors that Dawn McVey picked and I'm trying to use some of the long forgotten items in my stash.

Supply List:  Cardstock SU, Sizzle Die, Felt, Hero Arts Gems and Paper Flowers, Bo Bunny Double Dot Patterned Paper, Sentiment Unknown.

Reduce, Re-use, Recycle

These gift card holders are made with empty toliet paper tubes covered with scraps of paper (Still trying to reduce.)  I have made them for all different occasions.  Shown above are a just a few expamples.

Tell Someone You Care

This card is for a family friend who is very ill.  I try to send her a card weekly so she knows that i'm thinking of her and I care about her.  As the weeks pass and she gets worse hte cards are geting more difficult to make and send.  But I'm still sending them.

So, please tell someone you care today.  It might make their day.  :)

A Quick and Easy Card

This is one of my favorite quick and easy card designs.  You simply use any embossing forder 3/4 of the way, add a strip of card stock and sentiment of your choice.  Just by changing folders and sentiments you can create alot of different looks.

The best part of the design is that it is so easy you can mass produce cards for every ocassion.  This has become my go to design when I need something last minute.
